GLASS FUSING
is simply the process of stacking two or more layers of compatible glass together to make a design. Stacked glass is placed in a kiln where it is melted together to form one piece. It's easy and it's simple and fun. Great for adults and older kids.No experience is required.
We have lots of project sizes to pick from. Make ornaments, plaques, plates, bowls, coasters or jewelry.
Heres how it works. Select a glass blank. Creat your design using glass blocks, frit, stripes, stringers, noodles, rods, precut designs or pebbles. Cut glass to desired shape. When finished your project will be fused resulting in a flat piece of glass. Projects can then be slumped into a mold to take the shape of a plate or bowl.
No two projects will be the same. They may not be prefectly round or square.
                     GLASS FUSING CLASS
Take our fused glass basics class available to artists 14 years old and up. You'll learn how to create a project while learning the basics of using stringers, chunks, frit and cutting. The class is $5 per person plus the cost of glass project you select. Finished glasswork is ready for pickup in 10days. Registration is required at least 24 hours prior. No coupons or discounts honored for classes.
